All of us at Depot Drifters have side projects we may tell you about from time to time, and this coming Thursday September 10 Chris is playing jazz with Joseph Salack on piano at an art show opening at Relay from 5 until 8 PM. It’s a fascinating show actually, you can read more at the Sun & Dust events page. Relay is a cool space too, it’s down off Siler Road.

Those of you who have been around Santa Fe for a while may remember a band called Shake Alert that had both Joseph and Depot Drifters drummer Dave Wayne in it, Joseph has been our friend for a long time. It’ll be a nice mellow evening of standards with a few unusual choices thrown in, as well as a couple of Joseph’s own compositions, so do stop by if you’re feeling it.
